Join award-winning folk musician Tom Neilson for a night of music, satire, social commentary benefiting Meetinghouse Revival.

A special night of entertainment for a good cause. After the monthly open mic, stick around for a benefit concert on behalf of Meetinghouse Revival with celebrated musician and humanitarian Tom Neilson. Suggested donation is $15 to $25 to benefit Corsicana nonprofit Meetinghouse Revival in ongoing efforts to preserve the architecture and stories of Corsicana’s east side communities. No one will be turned away, but registration is required for this charity event.

About Meetinghouse Revival

Meetinghouse Revival collects, preserves, and celebrates the legacy of Corsicana’s Black communities through intergenerational storytelling, cultural education, and the revival of historically significant Black gathering places. The organization is raising money to continue the restoration of Wesley Chapel CME into a cultural center and storytelling lab. MHR aims to complete exterior restoration by the building’s 110th anniversary on June 10th.

By registering for this event and making a donation, you move Corsicana one step closer to preserving a piece of sacred history.
